As of November 23rd, 2008, the USPS extended the NCOA Move/Update requirement to Standard as well as First Class mail and increased the minimum frequency to 95 days prior to mailing instead of 185. On January 22nd, 2012, we saw another postage rate increase - First Class single piece went to $.45 cents, first class postcards went to $.32 cents. All other classifications saw an increase as well, with the exception of nonprofit mailers, they actually saw a slight decrease.
Intelligent Mail Barcodes requirement has been postponed indefinitely by the USPS - more info to come at a later date.
